The world's 63rd-ranked Siddhi-AI supercomputer was developed in 2015 and is now India's fastest supercomputer. The Rpeak and Rmax values for PARAM Siddhi are 5.67 and 4.6 petaflops, respectively.

2.Pratyush

Pratyush, one of India's fastest supercomputers, was created by the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) Pune in 2018. Under the guidance of Suryachandra Rao, the government approved a budget of Rs. 400 crores for the development of the new fastest supercomputer in India, with a computational capacity of 10 petaflops. The Cray XC40 liquid-cooled supercomputer has Intel Xeon Broadwell E5-2695 processors installed in each node. With a peak capability of 6.8 petaflops, it features a large 414 terabyte system memory. This supercomputer's main objective is to accurately predict monsoons and their intensity.

3.Mihir

Mihir is an Indian supercomputer that the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology built in 2018. The Indian supercomputer was also ranked 120th out of the top 500 supercomputers worldwide. Mihir is capable of 2.5 petaflops of processing power. Together, Pratyush and Mihir are used in weather forecasting operations. These two supercomputers can function at their top levels in a manner that is comparable to PARAM Siddhi-AI when combined.

4.SAHASRAT

This Cray XC40 supercomputer was constructed in India by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. It has improved the already advanced commuting system at the Supercomputer Education and Research Center. An Intel Haswell 2.5 GHz CPU set with twelve cores, 128 GB of RAM, 2.1 PB of storage, an NVIDIA G40 4K graphic accelerator, and 1376 nodes make up this high-performance system. Among the top 500 supercomputers in the world, it has climbed to position 96. SAHASRAT is intended for use in both molecular science and aerospace engineering.

5.AADITYA

AADITYA, a supercomputer from IBM's iDataplex line, has been deployed at the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) in Pune. The supercomputer is powered by Intel Sandy Bridge CPUs and includes 2384 compute nodes, 149 TB of RAM, an NVIDIA GF100GL graphics card, and 6 PB of storage. Each node of the AADITYA processor has 32 cores. The machine's processing is managed by IBM's General Parallel File system. In a previous ranking of the top 500 supercomputers, AADITYA was placed 116th. This supercomputer is used by IITM in India to predict rainfall in smaller areas. The institute conducts its meteorological studies there as well.
